Concrete blocks mark out the first few townhouses that will be framed for Knox Ridge, Knoxville’s BIGGEST student living option.

The site is huge, each level of earth marking where different rows of townhouses will sit on the mountain. The townhouses will be between 2,800-2,900 square-feet, larger than the townhouses at the Athens, Ga. property.

This difference in size gives Knox Ridge the option to have some units with a fifth bedroom, and all units will have a large bonus room that will be 26 x 20 square-feet.

Heavy machinery dots the landscape while construction crews work hard to bring Knox Ridge to Cherokee Trail for Fall 2016.

Our official move in date is August 15th, and excitement is growing as we start building the meat of our community.

The property will be located at 1436 Cherokee Trail, minutes from campus, and Knox Ridge will also provide a private shuttle service to residents at no extra charge. Knox Ridge residents will have dedicated parking spaces, and guest spaces will also be provided.

At the top of the mountain there will be the 40-person hot tub, the lazy river, and the resort-style clubhouse.

The top floor of the clubhouse will house Knox Ridge’s state-of-the-art fitness center, and the lazy river area will be a spot both for hanging out and breathtaking views.

The community area overlooks the entire property, and the views make you feel like you’re tucked away in your own private retreat.

Crews are laying slabs for townhouses and building up retaining walls for the higher parts of the property.

The community will be gated, and residents will enjoy privacy when they come home to their huge townhouses with valet trash service and private bathrooms. Everything about the property is huge, and the amenities will make all the difference to students looking to live BIG.

But even if hanging out by the hot tub or floating down the lazy river isn’t your thing, the privacy and the incredible views will make you feel like you’re taking an extended vacation.
